Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Auriao is a self-reflection tool. You may answer five questions about a current situation for a brief observation, or respond to 30 self-report statements organized around five dimensions informed by the Big Five framework. A paid Complete Reflection Report with answer-linked explanations is optional.

The quick reflection and full questionnaire are not validated professional instruments. The Service does not provide clinical diagnosis, hiring assessment, or a basis for career or relationship decisions, and does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts and Sign-in

Some features require signing in with your email address via a one-time magic link. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email account you use and for activity that occurs under your account.

5. Free Response Overview and Paid Report

The five-question observation and five-dimension response overview are free. The Complete Reflection Report is a one-time digital purchase (USD $7.99 unless otherwise stated). Once unlocked, it is available to your account.

6. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed by our payment provider and Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. By purchasing, you also agree to Dodo Payments' buyer terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time.

7. Refunds

Purchases are digital products delivered instantly. Please review our Refund Policy for details on eligibility and how to request a refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, text, designs, and software on the Service are owned by Auriao or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Your report is for your personal, non-commercial use.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• copy, resell, or redistribute paid content;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that insights are accurate, complete, or will produce any particular outcome.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auriao shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (data), Dodo Payments (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Your use of those services may be subject to their respective terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (mainland China), without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes shall be handled by the competent court at the operator's place of residence.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country or region of residence; those rights continue to apply to the extent required by law.
