How Auriao forms observations and reports

We separate current-situation observations from five-dimension behavioral preference summaries and explain what the system can—and cannot—support.

Five-question observation

The five questions concern one situation selected by the user. Fixed rules require at least two answers supporting the same direction; otherwise the result is neutral. It does not produce a personality type or affect dimension scoring.

Thirty-question summary

Thirty self-report statements are organized around openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and emotional stability, informed by the Big Five framework. Auriao wrote these items and has not established norms, reliability, validity, or cross-language equivalence; this is not a standardized psychological instrument.

Descriptive ranges

Internal values support reverse scoring, range mapping, and historical compatibility. The interface shows descriptive ranges such as “less evident here” and “more evident here,” not percentiles, population rankings, or ability levels.

Current-context section

When a user continues from the quick observation, the report places that situation beside related dimension responses. The two inputs remain independent: the five quick answers never alter the 30-question result. The connection is a hypothesis to test against real experience.

Deterministic generation

No large language model is called at runtime. The same input produces the same result. Questions, rules, content blocks, and fallback conditions are versioned and covered by exhaustive and regression tests.

Limits

Auriao does not provide diagnosis, scientific certification, hiring judgment, career fit, partner matching, or health advice. When a report conflicts with lived experience, trust the lived experience.

Data and purchase

Quick observation requires no account. Continuing carries only the situation, observation pattern, and up to two supporting answers. Email sign-in is required only before purchase. Supabase stores accounts, report history, and entitlements; Dodo Payments processes the $7.99 one-time digital purchase.
